Many professional personality assessments (like MBTI) rely solely on self-reporting, which is often biased or incomplete. This project is a web-based platform designed to help students and professionals bridge the gap between their internal self-perception and their external reputation.
By combining timed self-reflection with a "micro-endorsement" system from peers, the platform generates a concrete, data-backed skill profile to help users make smarter career and academic decisions.
Most people have a general sense of their strengths, but struggle to articulate them or verify how they are perceived by others. Traditional tests provide generic results that users often find disconnected from their daily realities and actual social impact.
The platform uses a three-stage interaction model to build a high-fidelity profile:
Guided Skill Reflection: A high-pressure, one-minute "sprint" where users type as many skills as they can. This timed activity bypasses overthinking and identifies the qualities at the core of their identity.
Reimagined Peer Endorsement: Friends, classmates, and coworkers provide "micro-insights"—short, one-word descriptions. This turns vague praise into concrete patterns of behavior.
Personalized Analytics: The platform aggregates these two data streams to reveal blind spots and highlights, ultimately generating personalized job and academic recommendations based on verified strengths.

This platform serves two primary use cases:
Students: Preparing for job applications and interviews by having concrete, peer-verified evidence of their soft and hard skills.
Professionals: Writing stronger resumes and understanding their specific value-add within a workplace team.
